Optus Stadium Perth – ‘NEW’ Rideshare Zone

Get ready for a NEW pick-up and drop-off zone at Optus Stadium, accessible on stadium event days, commencing Sunday 24 March 2019.

What you need to do:

1. Display your Ola sticker at the front left side of your windscreen. You can order one HERE or drop by the Ola office to collect it.

2. Use the designated rideshare bays. These are located on Nelson Avenue, on the East Perth side of Matagarup Pedestrian Bridge. You can pick-up and drop-off riders from here only.

You can access Nelson Ave (the pick-up and drop-off zone) via Waterloo Crescent at Bronte Street. Continue along Nelson Ave, pass the Matagarup Pedestrian Bridge and past the taxi zone. Stands 5 – 8 are the rideshare pick-up bays, on your left.

3. Drivers must follow directions as per the Department of Transport. This means that the pick-up or drop-off of riders on the roads surrounding Optus Stadium, or in taxi ranks in the area, is not permitted. Drivers may be issued with fines if non-compliant.

4. There will be exceptions to rideshare vehicles, local residents and taxis, entering Nile Street from 1.15pm onwards, on event days. Nelson Ave will also be restricted to one way only, so you must enter via Nile Street.
