Login Hours – Driver Rewards Scheme Terms and Conditions

A reference to “You” or “Your” means the driver

A reference to “We”, “Us” or “Our” means Ola Australia Pty. Ltd.

 

• Driver Agreement

 

1. These terms and conditions do not override or replace Your Driver Agreement with Us.  In order to participate in the Rewards Scheme, You must continue to comply with Our Driver Agreement.  
2. “Reward” means the reward identified in Rewards Scheme 1 or Rewards Scheme 2 in these Terms and Conditions.

The Rewards Scheme is available in:

2. Wollongong
3. Darwin
4. Cairns
5. Mackay
6. Townsville
7. Hobart
8. Launceston
9. Horsham
10. Warrnambool
11. Bunbury
12. Busselton
13. Bathurst
14. Byron Bay
15. Orange
16. Bundaberg
17. Shepparton
18. Surf Coast
19. Coffs Harbour
20. Port Macquarie
21. Tamworth
22. Gladstone
23. Rockhampton

 

• Term

 

1. The Rewards Scheme commences at 00:00 local time on Monday 2 February 2020 and ends at 11:59 local time on 31 March 2020 (“Promotion Period”). The Rewards Scheme will operate on a weekly basis during the Promotion Period. 
2. We may shorten the Promotion Period in Our sole discretion.

 

• Participation

 

1. We will, in Our sole discretion, shortlist eligible drivers to participate in a Rewards Scheme.  We may extend the offer to You to participate in one or more of the Rewards Schemes. You may choose to accept or reject the offer to participate. 
2. If You choose to participate, You may opt out of the Reward Scheme at any time.  You will not be penalised for exiting from the Reward Scheme. If you exit the Reward Scheme, the applicable Driver Commission rates as at the time of Your exiting the Reward Scheme will apply.  Please refer to Ola’s website for the latest driver commissions payable, available at www.ola.com.au 
3. If You have completed the conditions of the particular Rewards Scheme, We will pay You the applicable Reward.  

 

• Rewards Schemes

 

 

• Reward Scheme 1: $1,000.00 Reward for 50 hours login and at least 80% Driver Completion Rate

 

To be eligible for the Reward, You must:

(i) Accept Our offer to participate in the Reward Scheme.

(ii) Log in to the Ola app for 50 hours over a seven (7) day week commencing on a Monday and ending on a Sunday during the Promotion Period.

(iii) Have a Driver Completion Rate of at least 80%.  “Driver Completion Rate” means the rate of successfully completed trips (successfully completed trip being a successful pick up and drop off of a passenger) through the Ola app during the Promotion Period, out of all accepted bookings during the Promotion Period.  If You accept a passenger ride and it is subsequently cancelled by the passenger, We may in Our sole discretion apply that ride to Your Driver Completion Rate.  

(iv) If You cancel or fail to successfully complete a ride, that ride will not apply to your Driver Completion Rate.  

 

•  Reward Scheme 2: $300.00 Reward for 15 hours login and at least 80% Driver Completion Rate 

 

To be eligible for the Reward, You must:

(i) Accept Our offer to participate in the Reward Scheme.

(ii) Log into the Ola app for 15 hours over a seven (7) day week commencing on a Monday and ending on a Sunday during the Promotion Period.

(iii) Have a Driver Completion Rate of at least 80%.  “Driver Completion Rate” means the rate of successfully completed trips (successfully completed trip being a successful pick up and drop off of a passenger) through the Ola app during the Promotion Period, out of all accepted bookings during the Promotion Period.  If You accept a passenger ride and it is subsequently cancelled by the passenger, We may in Our sole discretion apply that ride to Your Driver Completion Rate. 

(iv) If You cancel or fail to successfully complete a ride, that ride will not apply to your Driver Completion Rate. 

 

• Payment Terms

 

After successful completion of the Rewards Scheme, payment will be made at the end of the week and deposited into Your nominated bank account the following Monday.  

 

• Relationship

 

This Reward Scheme in no way guarantees a minimum income from Ola and You will operate and have the status of an independent contractor.  In no way does participation in this Rewards Scheme create or construe Your relationship with Us as an agent or employee. The relationship between Us and You is on the basis of two independent contractors contracting for mutual benefit and nothing in these Terms and Conditions or the Driver Agreement will be interpreted as creating the relationship of employer and employee between Us and You at any time, under any circumstances or for any purpose.
