A reference to “You” or “Your” means the driver

A reference to “We”, “Us” or “Our” means Ola Australia Pty. Ltd.

  • Driver Agreement 
  1. These terms and conditions do not override or replace Your Driver Agreement with Us.  In order to participate in the Rewards Scheme, You must continue to comply with Our Driver Agreement.  
  2. “Reward” means the reward identified in Rewards Scheme 1 or Rewards Scheme 2 in these Terms and Conditions. 

 The Rewards Scheme is available to Selected drivers in Sydney who received the email communications sent 17 March 2020. 

  • Each driver is only eligible to receive on reward scheme as offered in their email
  • Term
  1. The Rewards Scheme (excluding any commissions or cash offers) commences at 00:00 local time on 17 March 2020 and ends at 11:59 local time on 14 April 2020 (“Promotion Period”). 
  2. We may shorten the Promotion Period in Our sole discretion.
  • Participation
  1. We will, in Our sole discretion, shortlist eligible drivers to participate in a Rewards Scheme.  We may extend the offer to You to participate in one or more of the Rewards Schemes. You may choose to accept or reject the offer to participate.  Each Reward Scheme will be offered on a weekly basis.
  2. If You choose to participate, You may opt out of the Reward Scheme at any time.  You will not be penalised for exiting from the Reward Scheme. If you exit the Reward Scheme, the applicable Driver Commission rates as at the time of Your exiting the Reward Scheme will apply.  Please refer to Ola’s website for the latest driver commissions payable, available at www.ola.com.au 
  3. If You have completed the conditions of the particular Rewards Scheme, We will pay You the applicable Reward.  
  • Rewards Schemes
  • Reward Scheme 1:
    • 5% commission on all rides between 17 March 2020 and 20 March 2020, unless otherwise extended by Us.
    • Rider destination preview
    • Priority allocation
    • $150 cash bonus for drivers who complete 50 rides in more between 17 March 2020 and 20 March 2020, unless otherwise extended by Us. 
    • Priority call back from our support team when a call back is requested via the Google form provided in the rewards email
  • Reward Scheme 2:
    • 0% commission on all rides between 17 March 2020 and 20 March 2020 is the following ride numbers are met within the listed times;
      • 4 bookings between 06:00am and 09:00am (local time) or 14:00pm and 19:00pm from 17 March 2020 to 20 March 2020
    • Rider destination preview
    • Priority allocation
    • $150 cash bonus for drivers who complete 50 rides in more between 17 March 2020 and 20 March 2020, unless otherwise extended by Us. 
    • Priority call back from our support team when a call back is requested via the Google form provided in the rewards email
  • Reward Scheme 3:
    • Drivers will receive a cash bonus as listed below if they maintain a Driver Completion Rate of 80% and reach the required number of rides between 17 March 2020 and 20 March 2020
      • $180 cash bonus if 30 rides are completed or;
      • $350 cash bonus if 50 rides are completed
      • “Driver Completion Rate” means the rate of successfully completed trips (successfully completed trip being a successful pick up and drop off of a passenger) through the Ola app during the Promotion Period, out of all accepted bookings during the Promotion Period.  If You accept a passenger ride and it is subsequently cancelled by the passenger, We may in Our sole discretion apply that ride to Your Driver Completion Rate.

  • Payment Terms

After successful completion of the Rewards Scheme, payment will be made at the end of the following week and deposited into Your nominated bank account within two weeks.   

  • Relationship

This Reward Scheme in no way guarantees a minimum income from Ola and You will operate and have the status of an independent contractor.  In no way does participation in this Rewards Scheme create or construe Your relationship with Us as an agent or employee. The relationship between Us and You is on the basis of two independent contractors contracting for mutual benefit and nothing in these Terms and Conditions or the Driver Agreement will be interpreted as creating the relationship of employer and employee between Us and You at any time, under any circumstances or for any purpose.
